Our second LitIndia library, located in Ulho, came into existence when a small group of students who were preparing for their entrance exams reached out to us. This group of students, who learnt about our LitIndia library in Rohtasgarh, had a passion for education and an eagerness to bring quality education to their village. When they approached us and expressed their desire to have a common place for studying, we knew that we had to build a LitIndia library in Ulho as soon as possible. Ulho is a small village that falls in Rohtas district, situated in Bihar.

Despite there being schools in the area, the students had no place where they could come together and study. They also struggled with the lack of books and other educational materials. When we reached out to the village sarpanch, he immediately agreed to our proposal of opening an education centre. Our team worked tirelessly to build the facade of the library in Ulho, and we were able to build it within a month. We have equipped the library with books and school supplies and recruited volunteers to help them qualify for various entrance exams and achieve their educational goals.

Today, more than 240 students are studying at the library, which has become a quiet and safe place for them to come together, study, and share ideas. They have also used the library as a space to teach one another, offering help whenever needed. Currently, there are four shifts in which students come and study, and we are looking forward to seeing them excel in their academic pursuits.

We will soon be introducing digital education to further enhance their learning.
