India is a developing nation and a country of 1.39 billion people. About 65 percent (majority) of the population lives in rural India, and 35 percent lives in urban India. Yet, according to a survey in 2021, close to 37% of poor rural students are not studying at all. As a result, underprivileged children in the countryside have limited opportunities for creating, experimenting, and exploring, thus reducing the child’s participation and interest in learning. Evidence also suggests that the absence of an atmosphere where children can learn and grow together reduces their chances of becoming confident and competent individuals in the future. India also has the world’s largest youth population and requires a platform to help channel its young population towards a better future. An educated populace is the first step towards a better India.
